    Angela Kirtdoll Suggs, 4^th Ward Councilwoman, is a native of Mingo Junction, Ohio and she now resides in Steubenville’s 4^th Ward with her daughter, Nala.  Nala is a student at Steubenville High School and is a member of the Big Red Marching Band.

     Ms. Suggs is a graduate of Mingo High School, has an A.S. degree in Liberal Arts from Kent State University and a B.A. degree in History from West Liberty University.

     Ms. Suggs is an Education Policy Fellow with the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL), a consultant to the Appalachian Higher Education Network, a member of the Steubenville Martin Luther King Jr. Association, member and chair of the Education Committee for the Steubenville Unit of the N.A.A.C.P., and the radio host for WDIG 950 am “Let’s Talk”.  Ms. Suggs is a member of Greater Zion Temple Church.

     Ms. Kirtdoll Suggs was appointed by Council in June 2011.  Her term will expire on December 31, 2011.  Ms. Suggs serves on the Planning, Building and Grounds, and Economic Development Committees.
