     David Fortunato, 4th Ward Councilman, has been married for 36 years to his wife Anita and has two adult children raised and educated in Steubenville. Mr. Fortunato was a member of the Historic Landmarks Commission and a Chairman of Mainstreet Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has served on the Land Office Board and Historic Associations Board. In 1998 he was elected to a four-year term on City Council and re-elected to a second four-year term.
     Mr. Fortunato is a Member of St. Peters Church and a retired hairdresser after 43 years. Mr. Fortunato is the chairman of the Service, Planning, and Building and Grounds Committees and also serves on the Finance and the Economic Development Committees.
