     David "Pokey" Lalich, 6th Ward Councilman, was born in Steubenville on 2/14/45 and graduated from Catholic Central. Mr. Lalich attended one year at Ohio University, then married Darla Straka a Steubenville resident and graduate of Steubenville High School. He has two sons both graduates of Ohio State University, David of Steubenville and Michael of Raleigh, N.C.
     Councilman Lalich retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel after 35 years of service. He also has David Lalich & Sons Home Improvement Business for years. Mr. Lalich serves on the Service, Safety and Health, Public Utilities, Finance and Economic Development Committees.
